Thanksgiving- food photos

so every year i go to my grandpa's house for thanksgiving. My grandpa always cooks lots of food because our whole family comes. There was alot more food than i took pictures of because i stopped taking pictures so i could relax.

movie

the movie we watched last monday and tuesday was really interesting. it kept my attention because of the way it was filmed. there were just people, places and things with little to no sound, and no boring narrator. the movie narrated itself and was great. the video of the different people around the world interested me. they are much more interesting than americans. hah. i think it's because im used to americans, and the different people do different things that i don't know about. they have different cultures and that is interesting. ok im using the word different too much sorry. well anyway it was a good movie.

shadow!

yesterday we had to take photos of shadows. this was quite difficult seeing that the sun wasnt out and shining in full force. i managed to find some shadows. i'd say this is an ok picture.

facebook activity

Dear Evin,
          I seen your facebook pictures (and i now sound like a creep but eff it). your pictures showed that you like to kick it with your friends and have fun. those pictures didnt really have an artistic elements in them obviously because you werent taking pictures for class, they were for you. i seen a like one picture with line, and a couple could have been rule of thirds, but im not sure. Sooo, i dont know what else to say. i guess im supposed to tell you what else i would like to see from "future photo albums". uhm i guess i want to see more artistic value in them, but i really dont care if you do or not. well bye.

sports photography

For this assignment i had tennis. unfortunately i wasnt able to make it to any of their games or actual practices during the season. i only had time to take pictures on the weekend, and i know that is a bad excuse but its true. Even when i took these i had to leave shortly after. these arent good at all, obviously, but i will do better for winter sports. hopefully i'll have more time to go to games and some practices.

uhmm so i had no idea what to shoot. i ended up taking pictures of trees and flowers, but those didn't work out too well so i chose the recycling bin.
